Overview
- The collision occurred at around 4:50pm on December 11 on the A489 between Churchstoke and Lydham in Mid Wales.
- Dyfed-Powys Police said Mr Pryce Jones was driving a grey Audi A4 and the other fatalities, named as David and Pamela Richardson, were in a red Toyota Yaris.
- A passenger in the Toyota was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following the crash.
- Mr Pryce Jones’s family described him as a larger-than-life character known to many as “Thiabendazole,” while relatives of the Richardsons paid tribute to the couple who had recently retired to the area.
- Investigators noted a blue tractor with a front attachment was on the same stretch of road at the time and are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact Dyfed-Powys Police quoting incident 267 of December 11.
