John Carpenter teams with studios for 80s-inspired zombie co-op shooter

Carpenter is consulting on a new first-person shooter where players fend off zombies and monsters with vehicles and high-powered weapons.
The game is set in the 80s and features up to four players teaming up to plow through hordes of zombies while shooting them off their vehicle.
Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive announced the game during Summer Game Fest with Carpenter offering an endorsement.
The game is slated to launch in 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
