Overview

• Businessman Sibusiso Zitha, 41, was convicted in July of murdering Thembekile Letlape, 38, known as the Pastry Princess.
• The killing occurred on May 30, 2024 at their Fourways home, where Zitha stabbed Letlape in the face and chest in front of his 10-year-old daughter.
• In mitigation on Thursday, Zitha said he snapped during an argument about his late parents and described prior cocaine and alcohol abuse following a divorce and business collapse.
