Overview
- Onnich was officially introduced at Dorfen’s town hall and assumes the post on an open-ended basis after a decade-spanning career in organized crime, cybercrime, narcotics and state security at Oberbayern Nord’s KPZ.
- Tobias Rötzer, who led Dorfen on an interim basis since January 1, 2025, has transferred to the Erding station to work in operations planning.
- The Dorfen station covers nine municipalities and about 44,000 residents; crime fell 10.8% in 2024 to a frequency of 2,648 per 100,000 with a clearance rate around 74–75%.
- Staffing stands at 39 officers, below plan, with three additional posts promised and scheduled to be filled in 2026.
