Joel McHale Discusses Physical Altercations with Chevy Chase on 'Community' Set

Joel McHale revealed on the 'Inside of You With Michael Rosenbaum' podcast that he and Chevy Chase had multiple physical altercations on the set of 'Community', including an incident where McHale dislocated Chase's shoulder.
McHale described the altercations as 'advanced horseplay' but admitted they could get contentious, leading to a chapter in his 2016 memoir 'Thanks For The Money' on how to fight Chase.
Chase has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with 'Community', stating on the 'WTF with Marc Maron' podcast that it was 'not funny enough' for him and expressing a desire not to be around the cast.
Despite their tumultuous relationship, McHale and other 'Community' cast members are set to start filming a highly-anticipated film continuation of the series, which Chase will not be participating in.
Chase was fired from 'Community' in 2013 after using a racial slur towards co-star Donald Glover and following a confrontation with series creator Dan Harmon.
