• The Joe Perry Project launched its 2025 U.S. tour on August 13 at Tampa’s Seminole Hard Rock Event Center.
• The touring lineup includes Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford, keyboardist Buck Johnson, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson and Stone Temple Pilots bassist Robert DeLeo.
• Stone Temple Pilots drummer Eric Kretz withdrew due to a family emergency and was replaced for the immediate dates by longtime JPP drummer Jason Sutter.
• Opening-night performances spanned nineteen songs, blending deep cuts and hits from Aerosmith with covers of Black Crowes and STP material.
• Perry has said another full-scale Aerosmith tour is unlikely given Steven Tyler’s ongoing vocal constraints and the band members’ other commitments.
