Joe Biden Emailed Hunter's Business Associate 54 Times During Vice Presidency

Emails Coincided with Biden's Ukraine Trips and Hunter's Tenure at Burisma

Newly released records show that President Joe Biden emailed his son Hunter's business associate, Eric Schwerin, 54 times during his vice presidency, with many of the emails coinciding with Biden's trips to Ukraine and Hunter's tenure at Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company.
The bulk of the communication occurred in the lead-up to and following an agreement for Hunter Biden to serve on the board of Burisma.
The White House has suggested there was nothing inappropriate about the communications, stating that Schwerin had worked as Joe Biden’s financial adviser from 2009 to 2017.
The records were released by House Republicans as part of their investigation into Hunter Biden's alleged influence-peddling scheme involving his father.
The email exchanges raise questions about Joe Biden’s potential involvement in his son’s business dealings, a topic that has been a focal point of Republican-led inquiries.
