Overview

  • Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti will shut the online application window for lateral-entry admissions to Classes 9 and 11 on October 7, 2025.
  • Eligible candidates must complete the process through the official JNVST 2026 links available on the NVS website.
  • For Class 9, applicants must be bona fide residents of the applying district and be born between May 1, 2011 and July 31, 2013.
  • For Class 11, applicants must be studying in Class X in a government or recognised school in the same district during the 2025–26 session (or 2025 calendar year) and be born between June 1, 2009 and July 31, 2011.
  • Required uploads include a birth certificate, residence or Aadhaar proof, previous school study certificate, rural quota certificate if applicable, and relevant category, medical or disability certificates; applicants should submit the form and retain the confirmation page.
