Overview

  • The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti began online applications for JNVST Class 6 on June 4 with a July 29, 2025 deadline.
  • Seven newly approved JNVs in Telangana will not enroll students for the 2026-27 academic year.
  • Phase 1 of the selection test is scheduled for December 13, 2025 and Phase 2 for April 11, 2026.
  • Candidates must be studying in Class 5 at a recognized school in their residing district and meet prescribed age and residence conditions.
  • Seventy-five percent of seats are reserved for rural students and results will be declared by March for summer-bound schools and by May for winter-bound schools.
