• The in-person, non-postponable hearing is scheduled for Friday, September 19 at 10:00 a.m. at the JNJ headquarters in San Isidro.
• Vice president María Teresa Cabrera proposed a six-month preventive suspension covering Espinoza’s posts as Fiscal de la Nación and Fiscal Suprema Titular.
• An ordinary disciplinary proceeding was opened after a near-unanimous internal vote of six members in favor with Francisco Távara abstaining.
• JNJ notified Espinoza on September 15 of the charges, which include not executing the June 12 reinstatement of Patricia Benavides and allegedly directing staff to occupy the ninth floor to obstruct the order.
• Espinoza must appear to deliver a 10-minute oral defense, and any decision on suspension will follow the hearing.
