• A fraudulent notice invited applicants to a "Last Chance Physical Assessment" at Ruimsig Athletics Stadium in Roodepoort.
• Messages attributed to someone calling themselves "T Kuduza" sought payments of R2,500, R5,000 or R7,000 to bypass stages, from a wall jump redo to a direct interview.
• JMPD said it does not charge for recruitment or assessments and will never request payment via Cash Send or eWallet.
• Legitimate physical assessments for recruitment are currently under way and remain free through official channels.
• Recipients and victims were asked to report incidents to Superintendent Bezuidenhout of Internal Affairs at 069 115 2153.
