Overview
- Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu formally inaugurated the JLL Business Services (JBS) Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
- The facility occupies 120,000 square feet across two floors in Prestige Sky Tech in the city’s Financial District and is JBS’s second India hub after Gurugram.
- JBS says the centre will scale to roughly 1,600 employees over the next two years and will deliver finance, HR, lease administration, analytics and technology‑enabled services.
- JLL reported that GCCs drove 42% of Hyderabad’s office leasing from 2024 to mid‑2026 and that the city accounted for 16% of India’s GCC leasing, with sector shares led by financial services, technology, healthcare/biotech and engineering R&D.
- Telangana’s government frames the expansion as part of a strategy to attract high‑value jobs and investment, and the growth of GCCs is likely to boost demand for skilled local talent, office space and AI‑driven shared services.
