Overview

• The General Administration Department issued orders to close Srinagar offices on October 31 for five‑day schedules and November 1 for six‑day schedules, with reopening in Jammu on November 3.
• JKRTC will run employee buses on November 1–2 with ticketing from October 27, and convoys will include a crane and standby buses, while medical aid points will operate at Qazigund, Banihal, Ramsu, Ramban, Chenani, Udhampur and Jhajjar Kotli.
• Departments will move either in full or in camp, with in‑camp offices limited to 33% staff or a minimum of 10 officials, and the order lists 39 offices moving fully and 47 moving in camp.
• A Special Move Travel Allowance of ₹25,000 is sanctioned per relocating employee, leave is largely restricted during the transition, and October salaries for move offices will be paid on October 31 with limited special casual leave for eligible staff.
