Overview
- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha chaired a high-level review in Jammu and directed intensified intelligence-driven operations and closer monitoring of digital platforms used for radicalisation and funding.
- Security forces increased patrols and highway deployments, including on the Srinagar–Jammu corridor in Pulwama and Qazigund, and expanded inspections of shops handling chemicals, fertilisers, explosives, hardware and vehicle repairs.
- The Union Home Ministry transferred the blast probe to the National Investigation Agency, which is coordinating with Jammu and Kashmir Police and other state forces.
- Authorities have arrested ten suspects so far, including doctors from Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh and an electrician, in what officials describe as a white-collar terror module.
