J&K Government Completes Key Leadership Appointments in Jal Shakti Department

- Mohammad Taj Chowdhary and Tirath Ram have been appointed as in-charge Chief Engineers for Jal Shakti (PHE) Kashmir and Irrigation & Flood Control, Kashmir, respectively.
- Five Executive Engineers were promoted to Superintending Engineers, filling all vacancies at this level in the department.
- The Establishment-cum-Selection Committee recommended these appointments to resolve leadership shortages and ensure continuity in project delivery.
- The Jammu & Kashmir Engineering Services Forum praised the government’s 20-day promotion drive, which elevated 30 Executive Engineers and two Superintending Engineers to senior roles.
