Overview
- He dedicated Rs 11.58 crore of works in Kathua, including a Bamboo Crafts Common Facility Centre (Rs 2.87 crore), an Agarbatti Common Facility Centre (Rs 3.39 crore) and the Kathua Kriti showroom (Rs 41.51 lakh).
- He inaugurated the HADP poultry and hatchery upgrade in Kathua with an outlay of Rs 3.88 crore and laid the foundation for eight additional classrooms at Government HSS Kathera costing Rs 1.768 crore.
- In Samba, he e-inaugurated road projects worth Rs 5.33 crore and laid the e-foundation stone for a 100-metre footbridge over the Basanter under NABARD at an estimated Rs 198.38 lakh.
- He directed intensified water quality testing under the Jal Jeevan Mission, time-bound execution of SASCI projects and removal of bottlenecks on PMGSY and NABARD roads with proper drainage and slope protection.
- He called for operationalizing a pesticide testing laboratory on schedule, examining industrial policy reforms to boost local jobs, and scaling Mission YUVA and SHGs with outcome-oriented job fairs.
