Overview

• Under the June 25 agreement, select Adani Total Gas outlets will begin retailing Jio-bp’s high-performance petrol and diesel products.
• Chosen Jio-bp stations within ATGL’s authorised areas will install Adani Total Gas CNG dispensers to widen access to cleaner fuel options.
• The pact extends to both existing sites and future outlets across ATGL’s 650 CNG stations and Jio-bp’s approximately 2,000 fuel outlets.
• This marks the second partnership between the Reliance-BP and Adani-TotalEnergies ventures, following their March collaboration on a Madhya Pradesh power project.
• By pooling private-sector infrastructure, the alliance aims to challenge state-owned oil companies that control nearly 90% of India’s fuel retail market.
