Overview
- ABC announced on Friday that Jimmy Kimmel Live! will tape five original episodes at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House from Sept. 28 through Oct. 2.
- The announced guest roster mixes city and national political figures with entertainers, including New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney.
- All five shows will air weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC and will stream the next day on Hulu, with live audiences at the roughly 1,600-seat Howard Gilman Opera House.
- ABC told reporters the network is not ending the series in 2027, and Kimmel said producers received nearly 150,000 ticket requests for the BAM run, far outstripping available seats.
- This edition marks the program’s eighth Brooklyn Week, produced with Kimmel’s companies and 20th Television, and organizers say surprise visitors may still be announced during the Sept. 28–Oct. 2 run.
