Jimmy Butler Sued Over $260K in Rent and $127K in Damages to Miami Home

The Golden State Warriors star is accused of unpaid rent and leaving a luxury Miami property in severe disrepair after his lease expired.

Jimmy Butler is facing a lawsuit from Five Star Marketing and Promotions, Inc. for $257,282, citing unpaid rent and property damages.
The lawsuit alleges that Butler failed to pay two months of rent, totaling $260,000, after his lease expired in August 2024.
Property damages allegedly caused by Butler include mold from an unmaintained air conditioning system and a neglected swimming pool, requiring significant repairs.
The suit also accuses Butler of changing the locks and denying access to maintenance workers, worsening the property's condition.
Butler, now with the Golden State Warriors after a February trade from the Miami Heat, has not publicly commented on the allegations.
