Jim Beam Introduces Private Barrel Program for Whiskey Enthusiasts

Consumers can now purchase personalized barrels of Knob Creek bourbon or rye directly from the distillery in Kentucky.

The Beam Private Barrel Club allows individuals to select and purchase entire barrels of Knob Creek bourbon or rye whiskey, a first for the distillery.
Participants must book a selection date online and pay a $1,000 deposit, which goes toward the cost of the barrel.
The program includes a guided tour of the James B. Beam Distilling Co. campus, a tasting session in the rackhouse, and a personalized bottling process.
Barrels yield between 100 and 175 bottles, with prices starting at $60 per bottle, depending on the whiskey selected and proof levels.
The initiative celebrates Jim Beam's 230th anniversary and marks the first time private consumers can access the distillery's single-barrel offerings previously reserved for businesses.
