• Devansh, 25, took his father’s licensed gun to Deepti’s home in Sultanpur village before dawn on June 23, fatally shooting the 22-year-old as she slept and then turning the weapon on himself near a pond.
• According to police, Devansh acted after Deepti’s family arranged her marriage to another man about two weeks earlier and she cut off communication with him.
• Officers recovered the 12-bore firearm and shell casings at both scenes and found Deepti’s body on her terrace and Devansh’s body a short distance away.
