- The state’s first WEF appearance is set for the week of January 19 in Davos, with an 11-member team marking 25 years of Jharkhand’s formation.
- Officials say the Jan 21 session at the India Pavilion will convene industry and policy leaders to address ethical supply chains, sustainable mining and circular-economy approaches.
- Jharkhand will pitch responsible investment tied to its Vision 2050 across critical minerals and downstream processing, electronics manufacturing, electric mobility, renewable energy, textiles, tourism and forest-based products.
- The delegation will showcase living megalithic traditions rooted in the Singhbhum Craton, highlighting active Adivasi practices at sites such as Chokahatu and Hazaribagh, and will present the traditional greeting “Johar.”
- After Davos, the team plans a UK visit to London and Oxford for investment promotion, policy cooperation and a CM address at Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government.
