Jharkhand Starts Weeklong Doorstep Service Camps Across All Panchayats

A state order mandates sector-wise camps that deliver certificates with time-stamped grievance tracking under the Right to Service Act.

Overview

  • Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore launched the 2025 round in Palamu, with the first week themed “Right to Service.”
  • Camps run from November 21 to 28 at panchayat and urban ward levels, with at least one camp required in every panchayat per the Chief Secretary’s circular.
  • Each camp must log complaints on the official portal, attempt same-day resolution, and track pending cases as Right to Service applications using time-stamped software.
  • Services include caste, residence, income, birth and death certificates, new ration cards, land measurement and mutation issues, social security and pensions, and enrolment in schemes such as Abua Swasth Suraksha, Abua Awas, Savitribai Phule Khisori Samriddhi, Guruji Students Credit Card, and Kisan Credit Card.
  • Ranchi will cover 305 panchayats and 53 municipal wards, with residents asked to bring Aadhaar, voter ID and bank passbooks, and the broader drive continues through December 15.
