Jeymes Samuel, director of the critically acclaimed 2021 film The Harder They Fall, has released the first song from the soundtrack of his upcoming film, The Book of Clarence, titled 'Hallelujah Heaven'.
The song features performances by Lil Wayne, Buju Banton & Shabba Ranks, and was released alongside the film’s official trailer.
Jay-Z and Kid Cudi are among the additional featured guests and collaborators on the Roc Nation soundtrack, with more details to be revealed in the coming weeks.
The Book of Clarence, set to hit theaters in January 2024, stars LaKeith Stanfield as Clarence, a man living in Jerusalem in 33 AD who crosses paths with Jesus Christ and decides to become a messiah himself.
The film boasts a cast that includes David Oyelowo, Alfre Woodard, Teyana Taylor and Benedict Cumberbatch, and is produced by Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, James Lassiter and Tendo Nagenda.
