Jets Interview Jim Nagy as GM Search Intensifies
The Senior Bowl executive director is the third candidate considered to replace Joe Douglas after his November firing.
- Jim Nagy, the executive director of the Reese’s Senior Bowl, interviewed with the New York Jets for their vacant general manager position on Thursday.
- Nagy, who has 18 years of NFL scouting experience and four Super Bowl wins with teams he worked for, has been with the Senior Bowl since 2018.
- The Jets have also interviewed former Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff and former Titans GM Jon Robinson, with ESPN analyst Louis Riddick expected to be considered as well.
- Owner Woody Johnson has enlisted The 33rd Team, a consulting group founded by former Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum, to assist in both the GM and head coach searches.
- The Jets are also seeking a new head coach after firing Robert Saleh in October, with candidates like Mike Vrabel and Aaron Glenn rumored to be under consideration.
