Jets Interview Jim Nagy as GM Search Intensifies

The Senior Bowl executive director is the third candidate considered to replace Joe Douglas after his November firing.

Jim Nagy, the executive director of the Reese’s Senior Bowl, interviewed with the New York Jets for their vacant general manager position on Thursday.
Nagy, who has 18 years of NFL scouting experience and four Super Bowl wins with teams he worked for, has been with the Senior Bowl since 2018.
The Jets have also interviewed former Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff and former Titans GM Jon Robinson, with ESPN analyst Louis Riddick expected to be considered as well.
Owner Woody Johnson has enlisted The 33rd Team, a consulting group founded by former Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum, to assist in both the GM and head coach searches.
The Jets are also seeking a new head coach after firing Robert Saleh in October, with candidates like Mike Vrabel and Aaron Glenn rumored to be under consideration.
