JetBlue to Open First BlueHouse Lounge at JFK on Dec. 18 With Tight Access Rules

Tightly controlled access signals JetBlue's premium push focused on loyalty differentiation.

Overview

  • The two-level, roughly 9,000-square-foot space in Terminal 5 sits across from Gate 526 and will operate daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Complimentary entry at launch applies to transatlantic Mint customers, Mosaic 4 members, and JetBlue Premier cardholders; Mosaic 4 and Premier may bring one guest free, and any additional guest costs $39.
  • Customers on Blue Basic fares are ineligible for complimentary access or one-time passes under the stated policies.
  • Food will start as grab-and-go curated by Union Square Events with beverages from Joe Coffee, The Greats of Craft and Please Don’t Tell, and a full kitchen is slated to open in February.
  • JetBlue plans to sell limited day passes beginning February 2026 to Mosaic 1–3 members, JetBlue Plus and Business cardholders, non‑transatlantic Mint travelers, and annual BlueHouse members, with a Boston location confirmed for 2026 as part of a broader Terminal 5 refresh and premium strategy.
