Overview
- JetBlue published the final BlueFirst upgrade rules on Thursday, Oct. 22, saying space-available upgrades will begin clearing 60 minutes before departure and members will see their position on an in‑app waitlist.
- Complimentary upgrades are available to all TrueBlue Mosaic tiers and eligible JetBlue Premier cardholders including authorized users, they cover one companion on the same reservation, and reservations of three or more are not eligible.
- Only Main, Main Flex, EvenMore and EvenMore Flex fares qualify for complimentary upgrades while Main Base and EvenMore Base do not, and partner elites such as United MileagePlus Premier members are excluded from the upgrade pool.
- JetBlue rebranded Move to Mint certificates as Premium Upgrade Certificates, made them usable for BlueFirst or Mint, and said certificates can confirm upgrades at booking up until two hours before departure with a dynamic one-to-four certificate requirement per segment.
- BlueFirst service is scheduled to begin Dec. 8 on the Boston–Fort Lauderdale route and most TrueBlue program changes take effect Feb. 1, 2027, shifting recurring benefits into one-time passes and concentrating premium value on high‑frequency and high‑spend customers.
