Overview
- New or returning routes will link Fort Lauderdale to Aruba, Cali, Cartagena, Grand Cayman, Liberia, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, San Pedro Sula, and St. Maarten.
- Most services start Dec. 4, with New Orleans and Pittsburgh launching Nov. 1, and Cali confirmed as a new JetBlue destination with its start date to be announced.
- Initial schedules include twice-daily New Orleans, daily Pittsburgh and Liberia, three-weekly Aruba and Grand Cayman, and four-weekly Cartagena, San Pedro Sula, and St. Maarten.
- JetBlue will also add flights on nine existing FLL routes, lifting Atlanta to three daily, Boston and San Juan to six daily, Hartford to three daily, Cancún to three daily, Kingston to three daily, Punta Cana to two daily, Santiago to daily year-round, and San José to two daily, with rollouts Nov. 1–Dec. 5.
- The airline targets up to 113 peak daily departures this winter and is offering promotional fares from $113, with booking open now for all new routes except Cali; analysts note heavy overlap with Spirit’s network as Spirit cuts capacity.
