Overview

  • JetBlue now supports the iOS 18.2 Share Item Location feature, letting passengers temporarily share their AirTag-equipped luggage location with its baggage service team.
  • Travelers generate a Share Item Location link in the Find My app on iPhone, iPad, or Mac and provide it at baggage claim via QR code scan or through a JetBlue crewmember.
  • The enhanced mobile app delivers live baggage tracking from check-in through claim across JetBlue’s network.
  • Shared location access automatically expires upon luggage recovery or after seven days to maintain customer privacy.
  • The new tools build on JetBlue’s strong baggage performance, having ranked second among U.S. carriers with fewer than 1% of bags delayed in 2024.
