Overview

  • The policy took effect on August 22, 2025, applies to new bookings, and requires the child to be under two at the time of travel.
  • Free travel for under-twos now applies to seat-only flights on Jet2.com, extending a perk that previously covered only Jet2holidays packages.
  • Parents can check two items per under-two into the hold at no charge, including a collapsible pushchair, pram or buggy, car seat or booster seat, baby carrier, or travel cot.
  • An extra 10kg baggage allowance is provided for children under two, and the 10kg weight limit does not apply to the two free hold items.
  • Jet2 promotes itself as the only UK airline not charging a fee for under-twos on European routes, with CEO Steve Heapy framing the move as putting customers first.
