• Megan Patrick and her two young children were stranded for nearly 15 hours at Palma Airport after airline staff refused to board them on their delayed Jet2 flight to Newcastle.
• They arrived at Gate A20 within minutes of its status changing to “boarding,” yet staff scanned their passes then barred them from the aircraft while it sat idle on the tarmac for another half hour.
