Overview
- The incident was reported around 3:49 p.m. Thursday at the Mayfield–Graves County Airport in western Kentucky.
- Sheriff Jon Hayden said the aircraft could not stop after landing, continued through grass and a fence, crossed KY 58, and struck a residence in the 2100 block.
- The pilot, who was the only person on the jet, was not hurt, and the person inside the home was also uninjured.
- Sections of KY 58 near the crash site were closed to through traffic with local access only, according to local authorities.
- The cause of the runway overrun and collision remains under investigation by the Graves County Sheriff's Office.
