Her twins are monochorionic diamniotic (MCDA), meaning they share one placenta, which increases the risk of twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS).
Nelson disclosed that she is currently in the pre-stage of TTTS, a condition where blood flow between the twins becomes imbalanced, potentially endangering both babies.
She undergoes scans twice a week to monitor the condition, which she says has been worsening with each visit, while remaining hopeful for a positive outcome.
