In the scene, Simpson, confused by her canned tuna's brand name 'Chicken of the Sea', had asked Lachey if she was eating chicken or fish.
- LeCroy posted a photo on Instagram of the couple's Halloween costumes, with her donning a white tee and black sweatpants similar to Simpson's outfit in the scene, and Randle wore a white tank top, blue basketball shorts, and drew fake tattoos to mimic Lachey’s look. They even superimposed a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill logo on the tee to replicate Lachey’s wardrobe in the scene.
- Simpson responded to the Instagram post with humor and offered her own tuna recipe in the comments, suggesting it's 'best with miracle whip, apples and chopped pickles'. LeCroy responded she would try Simpson's recipe, despite confusing Miracle whip with 'Cool whip' before realizing it was a type of mayonnaise.
