Jess Fox Recovering After Kidney Tumour Surgery, Withdraws From Remaining World Cups

The three-time Olympic champion will skip the final European World Cups to recover.

  • Fox said last week’s operation removed a tumour from her left kidney and that she is on the mend after some post-surgery complications.
  • She will recover at home and has withdrawn from the World Cup rounds in Tacen, Slovenia (Aug 29–31) and Augsburg, Germany (Sep 4–7).
