Jeremy Irvine Stars in Ballroom Dance Comedy 'The Light Fantastic'

The film, directed by Chris Cottam and inspired by a true story, will begin production in early 2025 in the UK.

The Light Fantastic is a ballroom dance comedy featuring Jeremy Irvine as a gay firefighter aspiring to be a professional dancer.
The film is set in Blackpool and explores themes of self-discovery and challenging traditional norms in the ballroom world.
Rupert Everett, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, and Layton Williams join Irvine in the cast, with Everett playing the role of a traditional dance instructor.
Directed by BAFTA TV award winner Chris Cottam, the screenplay is penned by Lee Warburton.
Choreography for the film will be created by the renowned dance duo Mark and Shirley Ballas.
