The championship featured 50 players, including the top 40 from the PGT leaderboard and 10 Dream Seat invitees, with a $1M prize pool distributed among the top six finishers.
Ausmus entered the final table as one of the shortest stacks but overcame the deficit to defeat Nick Schulman in a brief heads-up match.
Schulman finished second for $200,000, while Calvin Anderson placed third, earning $120,000 after losing a pivotal hand to Ausmus' pocket kings.
The 2024 PGT season concluded with this event, and the 2025 season is set to begin on January 20 with the PGT Kickoff Series in Las Vegas.
