Jens Lehmann Fined €135,000 for Chainsaw Damage to Neighbor's Garage

The former Arsenal and Germany goalkeeper's fine was reduced from €420,000 after an appeal and agreement with his neighbor.

Lehmann damaged a roof beam in his neighbor's garage with a chainsaw during a long-standing dispute in July 2022.
The initial fine of €420,000 was reduced to €135,000 after Lehmann accepted responsibility and reached an agreement with his neighbor.
Lehmann also faced accusations of avoiding parking fees at Munich Airport, which he has since paid.
Video evidence from a surveillance camera showed Lehmann with a running chainsaw, despite attempts to disable the camera.
Lehmann's driver's license was recently confiscated on suspicion of drunk driving after being stopped by police post-Oktoberfest.
