Jennifer Lopez is set to star in the movie musical adaptation of 'Kiss of the Spider Woman', directed by Bill Condon, known for 'Dreamgirls' and 'Chicago'.
The movie is an adaptation of the 1993 Broadway musical by John Kander, Fred Ebb and Terrence McNally, based on the 1976 novel by Manuel Puig.
Lopez will portray Aurora, a fantasy woman imagined by Luis Molina, a gay hairdresser imprisoned in Argentina in 1981.
The production is currently seeking an unknown to play Molina, with filming scheduled to take place in New Jersey from April 2024.
This role will mark Jennifer Lopez's debut in a movie musical.
