  • Jeedimetla police on July 17 arrested three members of an inter-state gang responsible for the July 8–9 HDFC ATM gas-cutter heist that netted ₹34.71 lakh.
  • Police recovered about ₹17 lakh in cash after seizing motorcycles valued at roughly ₹3 lakh from the suspects.
  • The trio identified as Yasib Hussain alias Asif Haarun Khan, Aamir Ansari and Md. Abed face charges in Jeedimetla and Gummadidala courts after being linked to more than 30 offences nationwide.
  • Investigators traced the gang by analysing footage from over 500 CCTV cameras and combining technical and human intelligence.
