JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Results Due Monday as NTA Finalises Answer Key

The release will set percentiles, ranks, and JEE Advanced cut-offs after NTA finalises the revised answer key.

Overview

  • NTA will post the Session 2 scorecards and the final answer key on Monday, April 20, at jeemain.nta.nic.in, and candidates will log in using an application number with a password or date of birth.
  • The scorecard will show subject-wise percentiles, an overall NTA score, an All India Rank, a category rank, and the qualification status for JEE Advanced 2026.
  • After the April 11 provisional key and an objection window that closed April 13, NTA will apply any accepted corrections to the final key, and any dropped question will give +4 marks to all candidates from that shift.
  • Results use normalised percentiles across shifts and, for those who took both sessions, the better total NTA score, with tie-breaking by Mathematics, then Physics, then Chemistry, followed by the older candidate.
  • About 11.23 lakh students sat Session 2, and the outcome will identify the top 2.5 lakh eligible for JEE Advanced and guide JoSAA counselling for seats at NITs, IIITs and other government-funded institutes.
