JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Underway with Day 2 Exams in Progress

The National Testing Agency is conducting the first session of JEE Main 2025 across multiple dates, with strict guidelines for candidates on dress code, allowed items, and reporting times.

  • JEE Main 2025 Session 1 began on January 22 and will run on January 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30, with two shifts daily for Paper 1 (Engineering) and a single shift for Paper 2 (Architecture/Planning).
  • Candidates are required to follow a strict dress code, including light clothing without large buttons, slippers or sandals with low heels, and no metallic items or accessories.
  • Essential documents for entry include a printed admit card, a valid photo ID, a passport-sized photograph, and any necessary PwD certificates, with no exceptions allowed for missing items.
  • The examination is being conducted in 13 languages across over 250 centers in India and 15 international locations, with biometric verification required for some candidates.
  • Day 1 analysis indicated the overall difficulty level was moderate, with Mathematics being the most time-consuming section compared to Physics and Chemistry.
