- The Jurado Electoral Especial (JEE) de Lima Centro rejected a tacha against Daniel Urresti, keeping him on the ballot for Lima’s mayoralty in rulings reported on Saturday and Sunday.
- The JEE said a December 2019 rehabilitation by the Poder Judicial restored Urresti’s political rights, so his 2016 difamation sentence does not bar his candidacy under current electoral rules.
