Overview
- IIT Roorkee opened JEE Advanced 2026 registration Thursday at 10:00 IST, with applications accepted on jeeadv.ac.in until May 2 and fee payment due May 4.
- Admit cards will be available May 11–17 and the computer-based exam will run May 17 in two three-hour papers, with Paper 1 from 9:00–12:00 and Paper 2 from 14:30–17:30.
- Eligibility limits Indian applicants to the top 2,50,000 in JEE Main 2026 BE/BTech, with two attempts in two years, a first Class 12 try in 2025 or 2026, age cutoffs with SC/ST/PwD relaxations, and a bar on anyone previously admitted to an IIT.
- The application fee is ₹3,200 for general candidates and ₹1,600 for women, SC, ST and PwD applicants, with foreign nationals charged USD 100 from SAARC countries or USD 200 from non‑SAARC countries.
- Only those who qualify in JEE Advanced can register from June 1 for the Architecture Aptitude Test for B.Arch seats at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee.
