Overview
- IIT Roorkee posted the official Paper 1 and Paper 2 question papers Monday, a day after conducting JEE Advanced in two shifts on Sunday.
- Early analyses said Physics was the toughest, Mathematics was lengthy and calculation heavy, Chemistry was moderate but tricky, and many students found Paper 2 harder than Paper 1.
- IIT Roorkee enforced tight logistics with centres opening at 7 am, gate closure at 9 am and 2:30 pm, compulsory attendance in both papers, biometric checks, and a simple dress code with a long list of banned items.
- The schedule now moves to candidate response sheets on May 21, a provisional answer key on May 25 with objections accepted till May 26, and the final result and key on June 1 at 10 am on jeeadv.ac.in.
- The results will set ranks used for IIT admissions through JoSAA counselling, and the posted papers help candidates review attempts before matching their responses later this week.
