Overview

• JD(U) released its first list of 57 nominees, fielding Anant Singh in Mokama and asserting its claim over four constituencies that LJP (Ram Vilas) had eyed.
• BJP named 71 of its 101 candidates, putting deputy CMs Samrat Choudhary in Tarapur and Vijay Kumar Sinha in Lakhisarai, and dropping Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav.
