• Overall satisfaction across North American airports rose 10 points to 619 on J.D. Power’s 1,000-point scale in results released Sept. 17, 2025.
• Minneapolis–Saint Paul ranked No. 1 among mega airports with a score of 660 for a second year, with John Wayne topping large airports and Indianapolis leading medium airports.
• Average gains by size category were mega +8, large +15 and medium +10, reflecting broad improvements across terminal experiences.
• Newark remained last among mega airports at 565 but improved by 13 points year over year, while major hubs such as O’Hare and Midway still ranked below their peer averages.
• J.D. Power tied the uptick to completed capital projects and authentic local food and retail offerings; the study drew 30,439 surveys from July 2024 through July 2025 as airports handled record traffic, including 10 million-plus TSA screenings over Labor Day.
