Jazz Reid Convicted in London Shootings of Father and 8-Year-Old Girl

Prosecutors tied him to three targeted attacks through DNA, CCTV and phone data, with sentencing on January 5, 2026.

Overview

  • An Old Bailey jury found Reid guilty of attempted murder, wounding with intent and multiple firearms offences after a series of linked shootings in 2024.
  • On November 24 in Ladbroke Grove, he fired 11 shots into a family car, hitting the 34-year-old father five times and his eight-year-old daughter twice.
  • The attacks were carried out by an assailant disguised as a Deliveroo rider using an e-bike, hire cars and a cover flat on the Swinbrook Estate to stage arrivals and getaways.
  • Police recovered a 9mm pistol loaded with 17 rounds under a concrete slab outside Reid’s Uxbridge home, with his DNA on the grip and muzzle and forensic links to the third shooting.
  • Reid denied responsibility, claiming he was set up and the gun was planted; he was remanded in custody and is due to be sentenced on January 5, 2026.
