Daniels set a rookie quarterback rushing record with 891 yards and added six rushing touchdowns to his 3,568 passing yards and 25 passing touchdowns.
He became the first rookie quarterback to lead a team to the NFC Championship Game without a top-three scoring defense, with Washington's defense ranked 18th.
Daniels delivered several clutch performances, including a game-winning Hail Mary in Week 8 and a five-touchdown, fourth-quarter comeback against the Eagles in Week 16.
The Commanders finished the regular season 12-5, marking their best record since 1991, and advanced to the NFC Championship Game with two playoff victories led by Daniels.
