Leno has stated that he filed the conservatorship to ensure Mavis's financial needs are met and her assets are managed should he predecease her.
Mavis Leno is not contesting the establishment of the conservatorship and does not prefer anyone else to act as her conservator.
The couple, who have been married for over 43 years, have no children. Jay Leno has managed their finances throughout their marriage.
The next hearing on the matter is scheduled for April 9, 2024.
